Sharp was born in Rochester (New York) and immersed herself in music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet and piano. Sharp's love for theatre at school led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded a scholarship. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. She performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight roles on the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp has other ideas which she's working on, in addition to the productions for screen and stage. She sings as often as she can, and is currently working on a full-length album in production. Sharp she is frequently either in front of or behind the camera or in the recording studio to record music, enjoys staying fit. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, go hiking and taking a long road trip. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
