Nichols, who earned two Emmy Awards during her nine-year time at ESPN as well as being featured on many of the network's most popular programs like NFL Countdown or SportsCenter, was transferred to ESPN following the year 2004. In addition, Nichols was an on-line reporter for Monday Night Football broadcasts. After leaving ESPN, her next destination was CNN and Turner Sports. Unguarded was a program that she created and hosted aired each one week at CNN International. A billion viewers viewed the show worldwide. In the course of this broadcast, Nichols covered TNT's NBA broadcasts, including the regular season, playoffs and All-Star broadcast teams.
