Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. Her mother and father are both English. Her family was raised in a council estate south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She was a student at an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an acting BA. She was a part of various performances on stage during her college days, such as the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi who was the leading character on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in the theatre include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her debut in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran at The CW for only two episodes before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast to play Ashley Davenport. After appearing on the show for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to depart the series following a guest appearance in the pilot episode from the 3rd season. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty and four older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball during summers and hockey in the winter. Ashley couldn't walk, however she could dance. This led to the fact that at the age of 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was addicted to dance from that moment. Ashley was a dancer who competed throughout the various divisions up until her graduation from high school. She was a competitor in ballet, jazz, tap as well as pointe and Acrobatics. Ashley won the best soloist prize at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just a few.
