Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who was raised as a child on the coast of Orange County. She received her break into acting in 2015. That same year, she graduated from University of California San Diego. Pernas she had appeared in small appearances in NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the role in the role of Marisa in The Young and the Restless, was a familiar character on the soap. The actress, who quit The soap after 2016, was cast in the role of Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. The model who speaks four languages has been seen in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From the year 2019 until 2020, she played Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been in a relationship with Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The star of the show Pernas began dating Justin Hartley following her breakup from Chrishell Stause who she had been married to since the end of November in 2019.
